Elizabeth Arden Defends Britney Spears Ad

It's her! It really is! That is basically what Elizabeth Arden is claiming. I guess they got wind of the consensus that some major photoshopping occurred before the release of the ad. The organization is saying that it is all Britney Spears and no body double was used for the final print out.

Elizabeth Arden's statement: "We recently shot Britney Spears for the print campaign for her new fragrance Britney Spears Believe, in Santa Monica. It is true that Britney did leave the set; however, she returned after a brief time. Cayli was the wardrobe assistant on the shoot. We used her as a stand in so that we could set up the lighting while Britney was off the set. When Britney returned, we shot the national print ad with her. The only person in the national print ad for Britney's Believe fragrance is Britney Spears."

Okay, you know what maybe it really is Britney Spears........the original picture may have looked so terrible that they edited it to death until the pictures looked like someone else. The said it was Brit......they never said they didnt edit the shit out of the picture......literally :P

You said it, Lici. Britney might be the only person they used for the photo shoot, but Photoshop sure did a number to her!!!

Perhaps it is Britney -- because it really does look like her body -- but **from a few years ago**. I suspect these are old pics brought forward for this project.

Who cares? Point is - the image of Britney in the poster does NOT reflect what she looks like NOW. Anyone can see that.

Kinda looks like JLo.

I agree with the rest of you. It might have been Brit in the shot but they never said the pic wasnt retouched to death ! I am so sick and tired of being spoon fed this crap all the time with the media. People age and have wrinkles and fat. Get over it and stop insulting me already !! If I was a "star" I would be so mad to think they had to do this much work to make me look decent. How can they put their faces and names behind such obvious fakeness?? I ask you !

Do these PR places think we are all stupid??? IF that is Britney it is a photo of her taken 8 years ago & touched up.

Allure Magazine is reportedly going to put the train wreck on their COVER.

Please let them know that this HONOR is not appropriate for the likes of her.

Their are plenty of deserving young women who are not only talented but do some actual good in our world.

where are her tattoos?

well it sure is photoshopped but they probably used a hand-double (or exchanged herhands in the shot) like they did with Madonna for her H&M campaign cause of her ugly, veiny old hands

I FOUND THIS> "She looked amazing, but she left the shoot three times in a state of distress before driving away for good,” the Page Six source said. “They had decent shots of her face, but not her body, so the art director made the stylist - a cute girl name Kylie Cavaco - get in Britney’s clothes and pose.

“They are superimposing Britney’s head on Kylie’s body. Kylie has the body Brit used to have, not the one she has now.”

Haha~ Knew it!
