Love It Or Hate It: Mary Kate And Ashley Olsen

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen showed up at the Hampton Social at Ross this past weekend. James Taylor was performing that night. MK showed up at the event/concert pulling off her typical "heroine chic," look, as some of you have called it before. And Ashley went gladiator style with some crazy sandals and a belt that she must really love because this is the second time we've seen her in it. I have to admit, even while I don't always love what the Olsen twins wear, I still can't take my eyes off them. I guess that is the charisma that has made them the huge stars they are!
So which Olsen twin worked the red carpet better? Do you like MK's look, Ashley's look, or neither? And can we talk about Ashley's shoes? I'm not that trendy I guess...

How do you always know who is who?
I like it... on them. I would personally never wear that (I think) cuz it does look ridiculous on average people. But these two make everything work well.
Ashley always looks more serious... MK is starting to look a bit scary, especially in the 1st wave photo.
Im a hippie big time....more of a modern hippie minus looking dirty as hell.....but I understand Mary-kates statement she is trying to make....shes trying to look like a HIPPIE STONER with a modern glam flare....shes slightly grunge herion chic too and I see some retro from her too. She has a dark moody style about her. Its not like its rocket science or something....I dont get why everyone wants her to look like a valley girl....that shit is boring and played out. Shes trying to be unique......try and wrap your closeminded brains around that concept. Even if you dont really like her style at least shes not trying to look like every other manufactured overly tanned, clone plastic malibu barbie wannabee that Hollywood tries to ram down my throat.
