Excuse me you really dont know your Courtney facts! i am oneof the people who does her Wikipedia,She was raised in a horrific overly disciplined environment, strict Catholic Boarding Schools, and Juvenile Halls, she learned disciplne at a cery young age- in fact id put her up with Madonna as disciplined- excepting Courtney A. makes FAR better music and B. is a drug addict in the sense that she has the disease of drug addiction genetically, in fact from what I know of Courtney Love she is a neat freak beyond, gets up every morning by 8 , no matter what, does the NY Times crossword puzzle every single day( can YOU do Saturday?) she beat heroin and never touched it again, she beat cocaine and never touched it again, she chants for up to 3 sometimes 4 hours a day every single day ( can YOU chant 10 minutes twice a day) and she has kept the same close friends for as longas shes known them ( Stipe. Barrymore, Paltrow) shes exec producing a film and watch her turn that into an oppotunity far beyond the scope of a Kurt Cobain film i imiagine shell be producing alot more films ,shes not a girl to turn down an opportunity, oh and when she decided enough was enough she simply got off her ass and lost nearly 70 pounds- shes missed 2 shows in 6 tours from losing her voice, the list is pretty endless,
Per that quote i was puzzled too, but i think as usual she was quoted out of context i am pretty sure shes inferring to the massive amounts of bulemics in her community, shes also worked her ass off making this next record up to snuff and to her standards, for 2 years. and from what i saw in NYC its an amazing record with every single song being perfect imho.
Shes pulled herself up from her bootstraps- and she got on that treadmill and she put herself in the situation and she owns it- never does she deny that she had a very severe problem , her daughter also had over 20 million dollars stolen from her trust fund, and i think youd go mental if you founf that out, but didnt know where anyone had put your money - she isnt psychic and itw as being laundered- ina very complicated matter- this is an open FBI case- anyone can look it up.
She also moved on with her life and was creative enought o not get bogged down in the misery that losing every penny to a group of ****s who you trusted and thought cared for her and for Frances,
Courtney Love is insanely disciplined, you dont get were she is back down again where she is back down again and on this record i am sure well be seeing tons of Vogue , Rollling Stone and Vanity Fair c overs, as well as lots of Oprah,Diane, Barbara, shes in tabloids ands blogs becauses she refuses to comment for the most part on any nonsense in the non legit media.
The only thing that puzzles me about her is why she blogs so sloppy when in fact she writes with perfect grammar when shes intent on writing a letter or essay.
