Katie Holmes As Wonder Woman?

Katie Holmes is in talks to take on Wonder Woman. This darn movie has been casting for at least 75 years. Maybe it just feels that way. Katie's team is pushing ahead with the idea to help get this girl back on the map. I guess being known as Mrs. Tom Cruise is getting old.

"The movie's only at the discussion state, but Katie feels this role as a kick-a$s superhero will put her back in the public eye," the source says. "She wants to show her stuff, and she wants to prove that she can stand on her own two feet without Tom's help. Tom, at times, feels compelled to oversee Katie's career, but Katie is bent on doing this alone. She actually scheduled the meeting when she knew Tom wasn't going to be able to be there." Cruise has been filming the WWII themed Valkyrie in Berlin since July.

I like Katie but superhero flicks are written so badly. I even doubt Wonder Woman can relate nowadays to the public or even Supergirl? the track record of superhero flicks even with Oscar stars were no good.

Action movie or another dramatic movie sounds good but not Wonder Woman.

Katie is still way better than the previous Batwomen and other actresses like Bosworth,Mendes,Alba,Bryce and Dunst.
The only good one was Margot Kidder and Pheiffer as Catwoman but still that movie now is so laughable. Katie = promising actress
while Wonder Woman = lame.

I think Jessica Alba should be the next wonder woman. Katie Holmes is too sweet looking. Jessica Alba has the figure and the attitude. I grew up watching the original wonder woman and if you look at lynda carter and Alba side by side, you would agree with me that they both have alot of the same characteristics. No one can really take the place of lynda carter, but Jessica Alba sure can try.
