I have a Tanita body fat scale. The person who invented that is a sadist with a poor sense of humor.

    Vera,
My second son (Liam :) is almost 2, and I JUST lost the last of the weight. After my first son, Eamon, was born I did Weight Watchers and lost a ton of weight. This time around it took longer b/c I just followed the WW plan on my own without going to meeting or weigh-ins. I feel much better now that I lost the weight…no more stretchy maternity clothes, no more hiding from cameras, no more being miserable every time I have to dress up to go somewhere. I would recommend doing a program of some sort and LOTS of walking with your kids. And finally, yes, scales are the devil!

Your funny, thank you for making me smile this morning. I gave up going on my scale. My husband uses it, but you know how it is with men. they skip one meal and all the sudden they loose 15 pounds. UGH!

Thanks for the laugh Vera. Be gentle on your self. You JUST had your baby. I feel your pain. When I had my daughter I lost 35 lbs in 10 days just from giving birth and breastfeeding. With my son I lost 15 pounds and was stuck with the rest for a long time. I kept waiting for the miracle with my daughter but it never happened. Give yourself time.
