Nicole Richie was photographed heading to Real Food Daily, a raw vegan restaurant. I guess she really is trying to keep it au naturale during the pregnancy. I can't imagine what the food is like at one of those restaurants. Anyone been? Is it worth the trip? The bump is growing nicely.

I eat lotsa raw vegan food and have even considered going 100% raw. Love it!
Mostly salads and dip dishes would be my guess. ´
There are some soups like gaspacho and such that are raw and you can make some pies using grounded dry fruits mixed with juice for the crust and then top it with fresh fruit or vegetables that have been processed.
I have been a bunch of times. Most of the food is actually GREAT. They have a cookbook out if you wanted to look at some recipes.
You can even bring a meateater there and they will be happy.
The chefs are so creative that you really dont even miss the meat and dairy.

P.S.- It is not all raw, most of the food is actually cooked, but you can get some raw food there. it is vegan though

This is my fave restaurant. My husband sometimes makes the recipes from the cookbook. We even took a cooking class with the owner thru Sur La Table. We are no longer vegetarians, but this food is unbelievable. The vegan cakes are the best. Unfortunately, I moved from LA at the same time I got prego, or I know I would be at RFD all the time. I miss it so much.
