Larry Birkhead is really enjoying being Dannielynn’s daddy these days. He is currently planning her first birthday party and has invited a whopping 200 guests! I barely had 200 people at my WEDDING.  The party will be hosted by Tricia Barnstable Brown in her Louisville, Kentucky mansion on 8 September one day after Dannielynn’s birthday.

Dawson Bullock, the invitation designer, says, “Larry knew he wanted a princess theme from the start. “He chose a tiara and wand invitation, and the front reads ‘Princess Dannielynn.’ When we first showed little Dannielynn the invitation, her whole face lit up! She is absolutely adorable!”

Britney Spears kept her engagement ring on while she visited a tanning salon late last night. It’s a beautiful ring… but I thought it was over between them?? I guess when you spend that much money on a piece of jewelry, you don’t want to give it up.

In more important news, Britney is getting investigated for child abuse. I wonder who made that anonymous phone call.

An unscheduled hearing was held today at L.A. County Superior Court. Present — Britney’s lawyer, Dennis Wasser, K-Fed’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan and a lawyer from the Los Angeles County Counsel who is assigned to the dependency court.

We do not know the specifics of the allegations but we’re told the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services is conducting an active investigation.

Morning reports of Owen Wilson getting admitted to the hospital are true. The actor released the following statement:

“I respectfully ask that the media allow me to receive care and heal in private during this difficult time.”

Some outlets are reporting an overdose. How sad that Owen feels he has no other way out. I have two friends that committed suicide. The impact it leaves on friends and family is everlasting. Hopefully, the problem was accidental and none of these stories are accurate.

We also learned that Hulk Hogan’s son got into a terrible accident. Luckily, Nick suffered minor injuries. Unfortunately, the friend he was driving with remains hospitalized.

“My son Nick and a friend were involved in a car accident last night. Nick suffered minor injuries and has been treated and released from the hospital. At this time, his friend, John Graziano remains hospitalized. Nick is currently at the hospital with John and his family. His sole concern is for the well being of his friend. On behalf of my family, we ask that your thoughts and prayers be with John and his loved ones.”

The absolutely beautiful Kate Winslet was photographed while out and about in London and although casual she is no less lovely. For fans of Kate you’ll be happy to know she has a movie coming out in 2008 called “Revolutionary Road” based on a book written by Richard Yates.

New pictures of Renee Zellweger have surfaced. She attended a Tom Petty concert at Hampton Social at Ross. She lost quite a bit of weight. Perhaps it is for a movie role?
