Nick Hogan Injured In Terrible Car Crash

I hope he's ok :(. I've seen them on their reality show a few times, they seem like a pretty close knit family.
Here's a picture of the wreckage:
"Witnesses say the yellow sports car careened out of control and hit a palm tree in the raised median of the four-lane road. Paramedics and firefighters had to cut both occupants of the car from the wreckage. The car was destroyed by the impact."

While I can not imagine the scare his family received, and I pray I never have to, I think this is another example of young kids in Hollywood (I KNOW they live in FL but his dad is famous so bear with me) needing structure and to be reeled in. All these young kids with more money than we will ever know in our lives are dangerous! Young Hollywood is out of control and on a scary, scary path.
Britney, Paris, Nicole, Nick, the list goes on and on. Sooner or later, one of these young kids are going to die. Nick came close and thank God he is alright, but next time, will he be so lucky?
Apparently he was street racing - if this is true it really is too bad that he is still allowed to walk the face of the earth - he could have killed someone else, someone innocent.
Just another example of a dumb idiot that has no respect or regard for anyone else on the road.
I for one feel this would have been a case of good ridance to bad rubbish....oh yeah, this is the first accident he has caused either
He always drives that thing like he stole it~ he lives right by me.... he is a punk. Although I dont wish ill will against anyone, he should have never been driving like that!
The picture of the car made me shudder. How can anyone survive this???
Too bad Brooke was not in the car. Her implants could of acted as air bags!
I think it is really too bad that he survived this crash. He deserved to die.
He was going 82 in a 45 mph zone (at 10:30 AM). Oh, and he was speeding in a construction zone with workers present
He better pray that his passenger survives. The passenger is still in very critical condition. Either way, he just cost daddy millions if a civil law suit arises.
Why would any one wish death on a teenager that hasnt learnt his leesons from the world Yet...any one who wishes death on someone just to teach them a lesson, is not fair, we all will have kids someday if we dont yet and lets see how they turn up, you can feel you are the most perfect family or parents and still see what your kids will turn up as in thier teenage years its a faze alot of teenagers go through
I know everyone is has thier own views, but God gave life and only him can say he wants to take it....
I live in Clearwater and you see this kind of thing all the time. Stupid kids racing down 60 and thinking nothing of it. Its doesnt matter to them that they can kill someone or themselves. This kid is a lucky bastard. He has been in trouble with the law how many times for speeding??? Maybe he will learn this time. The kid is 17 yrs old, Come on now grow up!! Just b/c he has a famous dad doesnt give him the right to put others in danger over something so stupid like racing another car down the road.

Why have the police not given this kid a ticket for the accident. I can think of some right off.
1) Failure to reduce speed to avoid a accident
2) Reckless driving
3) Damage to public property
Im not a police officer but I would think anyone who drives knows these. The other charges would be drag racing, speeding, The police are not issuing this kid tickets because who his father is. The people of that city should be outraged at the conduct of there police. The question I have is would if this kid hit a small child.
Would the police still be acting like he did not commit any offenses.
As you can tell Im very upset at the way the Police have showed
total disreguard for the public in this matter.
I can only wonder at the conduct of the police if this kid had struck a small child driving they way he does. Clearwater police need to stop fooling around and issue the tickets they would have to any regular citizen in the community. Im going to continue to post on all sites I find untill the police or the people who live there call for the police to do what needs to be done. Why is he still able to drive, why no tickets, why are police not showing respect to the witnesses who have come forward and said this kid was racing. DO YOUR JOB CLEARWATER. He should be arrested for drag racing and speeding.
Hey joe You should not say things like that he is just a kid what ever happens maybe he already learned his lesson but you should never wish for someone to die how would you like for someone to say that about you or your family. I now he did wrong by drag raceing on the streets but he will learn from this.

thank god nick is okay i hpe this family stays
together kids love both parents very much which show that they are great parents and do well together. however happiness is the key to good health and sometimes this is the best steps to take good luck to your family and may god bless you.
this is really sad i watch this show all the time. i really in joy it. im so gald he dident die why would anyone want him to die i pray for him and his family...

Don't you think Nick's "Sorry" for loosing his best friend (he will probably never function as a normal human being again) and his freedom? He will have to live with this tragic accident for the REST of his life. Just because Nick wasn't given LIFE in PRISON doesn't mean he's a bad person. He's a teenager and this will be a tough lesson to live with the rest of his life. I don't know how I would handle knowing I left my best friend in a "veggie state". I sure HOPE no matter what negative things people are saying about NICK I hope he can turn his life (I hope he doesn't turn to alcohol or drugs; most would to forget the accident) around and do something positive. He needs to become a spokes person for the dangers of drag racing and mend fenses with his friend's family. Such a sad and tragic ending for two families.
I think he desreved the right trime he got because he did almost kill his marine friend and he did almost kill himself. but all that he is going throught think it was you and think that if you were ging throught this and people said this stuff about you. how bad would you feel, im sure he is thinking that RIGHT now in jail, wouldn't you>3134 sw 73 av. portland, oregon 97225 ?
