Why is Angelina in all the pictures?
In response to Oh Please, #15, there are photos of Angelina Jolie raising awareness because photos of random unknown people like you and me would raise no awareness and get no publicity whatsoever.
The emotion on her face, I think, is real. And would you seriously have her not adopt (OR BUY, YOU CYNICAL LIAR) any disadvantaged children at all, you haters?

Angelina is also visiting American troops. She has a bullit proof vest on fools. This is no photo op. She is on a UN mission in the middle of a war, missions which she has done for OVER SIX YEARS. She is to be admired. She pays all her expenses. She flys commercial.

i did not need angelina jolie to visit iraq (for a teary photo op) to be aware of the plight of the thousands of people displaced by the war.
these kinds of stunts cheapen the UN...and are actually insulting to our collective intelligence.

oh please!!!! @ the pictures of the people risking their lives in Iraq are on TV every night when the news are on... that is, at least in the UK. The US news coverage is usually less harsh as not to scare people... and sometimes they forget that there are other countries out there in the world apart from the US. But I guess since there are a lot of US soldiers deployed in Iraq the news must cover it, too!
As for Angelina doing her job in Iraq: I salute her. I find it refreshing to see a "celebrity" do other things than just worry about their fake orange tan, run around in jogging pants with a bunch of body guards or worry because the nail polish is chipped off one of her fingernails.
I think it is great that she gets involved and does something useful with her live apart from making films.
And as for all those Angelina haters out there... I pity you actually. You seem to have a very boring life or why do you come here to slag someone off who does something good for other people?
wtf comparing this hollywood actress to mother theresa? By the way, the look on her face is used in just about every movie she makes. It is called acting people. Angelina hasnt sacrificed anything in her life. She lives the life of a rich, spoiled, hollywood elitist. Mother Theresa sacrificed everything in her life for others. Angelina is just a wannabe everything.

Her man is home with the kids when she do thing likes a nd vice versa. They rarley leave thier kids at home. If they leave them they leave them with their relatvies. This two are really symbolic partents.
