Salma Hayek’s Baby Shower Details

Salma Hayek enjoyed homemade Mexican food at her baby shower held in her Hollywood Hills home.  Us Magazine is reporting on some of the amazing gifts she received.

The nine-months-pregnant Hayek (dad is her fiancé, Francois-Henri Pinault, 45, CEO of luxury goods company PPR) even received doubles of several gifts off her registry at L.A.’s NoMi Boutique. She got Petunia Pickle Bottom Cake bags in both black ($325) and pink ($425), as well as two Bloom high chairs ($400 each) and Graco Snug Ride car seats ($130 each). “She was very excited about everything,” said Pia Lindstrom, who attended the party, where guests – including Hayek’s mother – enjoyed homemade Mexican food.

And although they haven’t confirmed whether or not they are having a girl, sources say that some of the cards were made out to Valentina. Pink also won out on the color battle. Hmmmnnn… only time will tell.

    How can she be 9 months pregnant already?? When the hell did that happen? And seriously, do you not ache for this woman just looking at how ginormous her breasts have gotten? They have to be just as uncomfortable as her belly.

    Oh how funny. They splurge on Petunia Picklebottom bags and an expensive highchair, but she ends up with a crappy Graco carseat. You think celebrities would be more into Britax or Peg Perego. More pricey, but better safety ratings.

    Okay, Salma Hayek is going to be married to a billionare and she is a milliionaire many times over. Baby showers are very fun and cute BUT do you really think Salma needs to keep her loot. Why not give it to some other poor working woman who would never in her lifetime have a quality baby item. Just a thought. BTW she has gained a ton of weight and will need to really work hard to get anywhere close to where she was before. I also like the name Valentina.
