Uh Oh... Bad Reviews Are Already Starting To Pour In For Britney Spears

An out-of-shape, out-of-touch Britney Spears delivered what was destined to be the most talked about performance of the MTV Video Music Awards - ” but for all the wrong reasons. Kicking off the show Sunday night with her new single, "Gimme More," Spears looked bleary and unprepared - ” much like her recent tabloid exploits on the streets of Los Angeles.She lazily walked through her dance moves with little enthusiasm. It appeared she had forgotten the entire art of lip-synching; and, perhaps most unforgivable given her once taut frame, she looked embarrassingly out of shape.Even the celebrity-studded audience seemed bewildered. 50 Cent looked at Spears with a confused expression; Diddy, her new best friend, was expressionless.Some comeback.Click for the rest of the article.

What Brit did tonight took balls of steel. After what she has been through, a lot of people (famous or not) would be curled up in a ball somewhere sucking their thumb, crying. Cut her a break. She is still attractive and did well. Not perfect, but I am so glad she came back.

I was very happy to see Britney perform tonight however I was disapointed because I felt she could have used this forum to shut the basturds up!!and she didnt its as though she just gave in and let her nrves take her over it was painfully obvious that she didnt give this performance her all! Well...i was thinking that maybe she smoked a little herb pre-show or took a downer of some sort.

Her performance was nothing she hyped it up to be AT ALL and I hear what people are saying...that her body is not that bad for having 2 kids etc... etc... BUT she ABSOLUTELY does not have the body to wear a blinged out bra and underwear for her big comback performance. Even her lip syncing was awful...Just terrible!!

I was just saying that the camera repeatedly pulled away especially when she flubbed the words. If it is true she makes 3/4 of a million a month from investments etc. maybe she is just done working. By the way yes my kid is named Cat.

The song is pretty good, her performance was pretty uninspired. For people to say it is career ending is quite a bit over board. If the rest of her new album is similar to the gimme more song she will sell records. Do you people really think the VMAâ€™s are that important. The show as a whole was pretty **** anyways. MTV is happy that at least people are finally talking about it.
