Student Tasered At John Kerry Visit

When I heard about this on the radio, they made it sound like the kid was trying to speak and then the cops jumped on him for no reason. Now after seeing the video, I can see he caused a bit of a scene. But 6 cops and a taser gun? I don't know if what he was doing warranted that. I heard they zinged him 4 times. But I couldn't make it out on the video.
In the end, Andrew Meyer spent a day in jail and has a story to tell his grandchildren that will make all the neighborhood kids jealous.

the nytimes is reporting the kid has a history of recording his practical jokes AND he was asked to leave the microphone when his time was up (rules of conduct) and he was removed when he refused to follow those rules.

Sorry , what ever happen to that new policy that State or the Goverment were going to enforce, in make sure new police enrollments would have a High School diploma and ad-least 2years of college - University and not aTrade school or Community college under their belt.

It was all over the top. The guy clearly was out of line and over reacted. If the cops ask you to leave, you shut up and do what they say. The kid wanted to make a scene and he got what he wanted. Now as for the tasering, that was too much but hey, they had tasers, what can you do? The guy did this for attention and his friends posted it all on the internet minutes after it happened.
This is brutal, I saw someone get tasered in person once, it was not pretty! What did he even ask? Where is the commentary? What is the book? Does anyone know exactly what kind of question can get one tasered?

I don´t think they asked him to leave because the speaker (kerry) didn´t like his question, I think they asked him to leave because his time was up before he could even ask his question, and then he began raising his voice and making 3 questions one after another, and I´m not justifying what they did at the end, but I do understand a Q and A session has to be the most peaceful it can be. I agreed when they try to make him leave the mic, but of course if they already had him of the floor there´s no reason to use the taser gun and I think he should sue.
