Oprah gets everyone to open up! Well, except Rosie O’Donnell! Justin Timberlake spoke about Britney Spears for the first time in YEARS. He usually just responds with “I don’t know her anymore.” But this time he confesses that he still has love for her and talks a little bit about their relationship. Add that to quotes about his career and summer hit, and you have yourself one heck of an interview.—-On SexyBack:
“The funniest thing about that song was, originally, it wasn’t going to be titled ‘SexyBack. We didn’t know what we were going to call it, and that was sort of an ad lib line that started off the actual writing of the song. Then I started playing it for a lot of different women … and they kept saying, ‘That Sexy Back song.’ And I was like, well, all right. It stuck to the wall.”
On starting out in the business at such a young age:
“I would film [The New Mickey Mouse Club] six months out of the year, and then go back to a small town in Tennessee,” he says. “In that small town, yeah, I was a big deal, you know? But it was kind of interesting… I kind of became an outcast in school because I wasn’t normal.”
On the paparazzi:
“[When] you drive out of your [driveway] and people are kind of sitting waiting to follow you, you know, ‘He’s going to go to Whole Foods. We need to capture that.’ You’re just like, okay, this is kind of weird. … You kind of try to pretend it’s not there.”"It’s like, ‘Look, you guys have the technology of telephoto lenses and you can shoot those pictures [from far away],’” he says. “I think it’s one of those things that, if you let it, it will consume you.”
On Britney Spears:
Oprah: What do you think is going on with Britney?Justin: I don’t know, to be honest with you. I haven’t spoken to her in years. I mean, there’s no ill will – “I have nothing but love for her. It’s funny because we dated each other at a time… wow, I haven’t talked about this in a long time. It’s interesting.Oprah: But you’ve never talked about it to me, so it’s okay.Justin: Hey, let’s get it in, girl.Oprah: Let’s get it in.Justin: We were teenagers, you know?Oprah: Yes, famous teenagers.Justin: I think that’s basically the best way to describe what happened to us. I think she’s a great person, and I don’t know her as well as I did … . What I do know about her is she has a huge heart, and she is a great person.

I think that Justin is still hurt and that is why he is bouncing between women all the time. He makes it to a certain point and than he gets closer and closer to a girl and dumps her. I am not sure if he did that to Britney or he did it after Britney, but I remember a statment he never made about any other woman “she is an 11 what guy wouldn’t be lucky” he kissed her cheek and stared at her as she turned to the camera and giggled. I think a cheating was involved at such a young age and forgiveness wasn’t granted but if you look at it they were both young and most desired. They should have started to face it like an adult since. I think they will to be honest. I think he would remember his love wants he retalked to her and would love her kids. I think you would see the player disappear.

I think he has definitely spoken to her. Timbaland said they were in negotiations to do a song on her new album but that she flaked. I also have heard that his mother and britney’s are still good friends. He def knows what’s going.

Love his music, but everytime he gives interviews I find him totally off-putting.

Britney and justin were 10 or 11 when they started dating, it’s heart-breaking to know they broke up because of her stupidity! I love justin, and I think he still LOVES her!

In my opinion I think that he still has feelings for her. She is his first love and you never forget them. Yes he did cry me a river and all that but he did that because he was mad/sad angry/confused all in one and just needed to get his feelings out and that is how he did it. Guys are strange that way. I know Britney was hurt by it and when she is asked about it she would get quiet and sad. I think she still loves him too and I hope that they some day reunite. They need each other.In relation to what Justin had said about him not knowing her as well anymore, they both have changed into people neither one of them knows anymore.
