Uh...Oh

Do I smell some younger competition? Here are some girls filming on the set of the new Sex and the City Movie. Nobody does it like Carrie and the gang!! I think it's funny that they added this into mix. I guess it addresses the "Aren't they too old to be doing it?" question (which I totally disagree with).

Pure speculation, of course, but maybe those young girls are supposed to be the characters at a younger age - for some flashback or something. The one in the black and green dress certainly has a resemblance to Kim Catrall.

I heard it was supposed to be that they did a double take on the street, SJP & Co see these new younger girls who resemble them and their friendships.

Maybe it will be how they end the film? You know, passing the mantle on to the new generation as it where.

The SPJ look alike in the hat looks a lot like Ashlee Simpson especially in the pic from the Daily Mail.

It would be in line with the writing style of the show to have the ladies see these younger gals who remind them so much of themselves. I seem to recall a couple times in the series that similar plot devices were used.

Damn, they look old. And they looked old when the show was still on the air. I still have the urge to feed Sarah Jessica Parker a carrot and have her count to five with her hooves.

The "younger" version of her, not so much.
