After a thorough search from security personnel, Kate Beckinsale was allowed on her flight with the rest of her family. Better safe than sorry right? I just hate taking my shoes off though. Especially when I am wearing sandals… ick.

I was beginning to wonder where Nicole Kidman was hiding. She’s been way below the radar for weeks. Then all of a sudden we have two new events back to back. Works for me!

Nicole attended the New Line Cinema 40th Anniversary Gala in all black and a screening for Margot at the Wedding in white. Wonder how Keith is doing since the accident? I didn’t come across any pictures of the pair at either event.

But according to Life and Style Magazine, it isn’t her fault. Her darn gate intercom wasn’t working. When the boys arrived home to see their mother, they assumed she wasn’t there since no one was responding. Turns out Britney Spears was upstairs waiting for them all along.

The night before, “She checked into the Beverly Wilshire hotel. But early that morning, she realized it wouldn’t be right to have her first visit with the boys in a hotel. She needed to see them at home, with their things around them,” says the insider.

“She and Alli [Sims] headed to Brit’s Malibu house. They went to sleep as soon as they got there. Brit was up in plenty of time to prepare for the boys’ visit at 10 a.m.

“But she waited, and waited, and they didn’t show up. Alli’s cellphone rang, and it was Kevin [Federline’s] people, saying that the boys were going back to Kevin because she hadn’t answered the intercom at the gate!

“Brit didn’t realize the intercom wasn’t working. She begged them to bring the boys back. But they wouldn’t. She was devastated that they wouldn’t turn around.”

Does anyone else find this story to be a bit fishy? Wouldn’t they try calling the house? Or Britney’s cell? Why call Alli???

Lacey Chabert seems to be one of those celebs who likes to fly under the radar. Here she came out of hiding for the Master Lee Sun-Don Gallery Opening yesterday. I’m thinking we’ll start seeing more of her soon because she’s been busy according to IMDB. She’s got two more movies coming out this year.

I just wish they’d remake Party of Five. Did anybody else LOVE that show?!?
