Angelina Jolie Takes The Kids To The Metropolitan Museum Of Art

Angelina Jolie always makes sure she provides some city culture to her children. Not that you can tell where they are from these pics - but they are on their way to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.Completely off topic, anybody have a DVD player in their car. My husband and I won't get one in fear of what will happen should our children need to ride in a car without one. Parents - are they worth it??

we dont have kids yet, but my hubby is terribly opposed to the idea of Car DVD players. i agree - kids should be able to entertain themselves by talking, playing road-trip games, singing, and heaven forbid practicing math facts.

I think they are great for long trips, we have to boys and take alot trips, just came from a long trip to Tenn. And they watched one moive, and for the rest of the trip did just talk about school, friends, life. I think it can be helpful, but on a long trip, it is also nice to just spend time as a family talking and enjoying each other.

My nephews have them, and they only use them for long trips, they are the ones you can take out and move from car to car, and even plug into an outlet plug so it has plenty of use

i applaud angie for wanting to be coherent about the whole "educating myself and being a better citizen" thing, but to me bringing a 16 month old child to the museum is just plain stupid.

We have one, and it is well worth it. We use it with guildlines. Long trips etc... My Mom( who raised 5 kids with my Dad) saya that she wishes they had one when we were young. Should be used in moderation.

We absolutely love the DVD system that we have in our car. Keeps our son busy and keeps us from going insane! You have a choice in what your child watches...so choose with discretion!

My kid gets a bit nauseated if she watches too long. It still shakes around too much on long drives...

Depends on the kid I guess.

i bought a portable dvd player for our three yr. old - BUT the only time she uses it is on the 6 hr. road trip to see my mum. for trips that long it is well worth it.

Im sure that 16 month old Shiloh, and 2yr old Zahara are going to get a whole lot from that visit...Another PR stunt in my opinion..and yes Shiloh should be in a car seat....Brittney Spears was crucified when she did it..but Brangalina can do whatever, even take thier kids on a boat without life preservers, and everyone sings thier praises.
