Britney Granted Overnight Visitation
L.A. County Court Commissioner Scott Gordon, has agreed to Britney's plea for overnight visitations...sort of...She will be allowed one night away in which the kids have permission to sleep over at her house. But, she still must have a court appointed monitor with her at all times.TMZ is reporting that Britney left the courthouse visibly upset after testifying. They are also saying that the decision to allow overnight visits was reached as a compromise. Brit wanted all visits to be sleepovers and K-Fed didn't want to allow any overnights. But the lawyers for both sides eventually agreed to "slightly" increase her visitation rights. In other words K-Fed decided to throw the girl a bone!They are also reporting that she didn't do too well on the stand:
We're told Spears had a back and forth with the Commish that lasted approximately 40 minutes. She constantly interrupted him and at times was extremely sarcastic. At one point she started thanking the judge for what he had done, but her tone was heavily laced with disdain.
And in more court news, People has a few interesting quotes from the involved parties.Court spokesman Allan Parachini says,
"Ms. Spears did speak (at the hearing) and her voice was soft and respectful."
Spears' attorney, Sorrell Trope, says,
"I consider this a very positive sign for my client. I have every expectation that she will comply with all the orders made by the court. I remain absolutely optimistic that she will eventually regain 50-50 custody."
And Kevin's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan states,
"Kevin has always been willing to jointly parent these children. He felt confident that the conditions (on Spears) satisfied his concerns. Kevin agreed that he would allow additional time to be expanded into the order, provided that the kids (were properly) protected."
You know, after all this time, I still can not get over the fact that Kevin Federline has turned out to be the responsible parent in this whole situation. It's a crazy world, I tell ya! But, I'm glad that Britney seems to be slowly getting her act together and that the judge is rewarding her for it. Do you agree with his decision to allow her overnights with her sons?

Yes I do think the judge did the right thing. Britney finally is starting to take baby steps to comply, so she is being rewarded in small amounts. I hope this will encourage her to continue to work for the priviledge of spending more time with her kids.

Im sorry, I have been thru a divorce, even tho I wanted it, even tho I hated that man for what he had done to me, it was HARD on me. All my dreams and hopes were shattered.
My bet is she is having the same difficulties.
and its REAL easy to play the "better" parent when you have that many dollar signs hanging in front of your face. I mean face it, that is the whole reason that man went after her and why he made sure he got her pregnant as soon as he could. He wanted to make sure he had his claw in her pocketbook before she saw what he really was and dumped him back on the street where he belongs.
Dont get me wrong. she has a lot to make up for too. I mean who the hell goes out and lets people take upskirt photos let alone NUDE ones. Um, paging EW! but not a single parent out there is perfect. We have all made mistakes. But you go from there. Unfortunatly for her every mistep she takes is documented on film. I wonder what would happen if an average jane first time mom had a photog following her around... how many mistakes would you see come about? plenty...
