I think the timing has to the do with the fact her fact her divorce was not official until a short time ago.

Just wanted to chime in and say I heard gossip from Jonathan Jaxson over at JJ Dirt that there is speculation that Jake is in fact gay, and that he was seen leaving Cedars Sinai Hospital this weekend with his long-time secret male partner (co-actor in Day After Tomorrow), with their new child who arrived via C-section from surrogate mother. That is definitely some dirt there...no word to whether or not this is true, but it would be a great act to be seen with Reese to take attention away from what is really going on in his life, if it is true, dontcha think? I can totally see Reese supporting that kind of a move as well and them being the best of friends.
