Owen Wilson Ready To Talk... On MySpace

There is no guarantee that he will open up about the recent suicide attempt, but Owen Wilson is scheduled to participate in a MySpace interview led by longtime friend, Wes Anderson. The interview should go live today. Wes is the director of The Darjeeling Limited, Owen's latest project so don't get your hopes up about any personal insight into his problems. My guess is that 90% of the interview will be work related and then the last question will be very opened ended about his health. Owen will say something like, "I'm doing great.... surrounded by family and friends... taking time to find myself... happy about the project. etc. etc. etc.

Why is everything a PR stunt. Owen has had problems since he was a child. It makes sense that his first interview would be something low key, with someone he trusts. I would have been more shocked if he sat down with Oprah to talk about his problems. Doing an interview with Wes about a project he is happy with is the best way for Owen to make his way back into the spotlight.
