Photographer Talks About Shooting Britney Spears

The photographer who shot Britney Spears in the infamous / disastrous OK! Magazine photoshoot in July has decided to speak out. Photographer Mark Lidell who says he is like family to Britney, having shot her engagement pictures and baby pictures, is on the record defending Britney’s actions from that day.

We all have our highs. We all have our lows. Paparazzi absolutely killed and ruined our day. They jumped in the backyard. They were everywhere. I think it was an overwhelming day. It was too much going on for her. And you know the sweetheart said to me in the car afterwards, “Mark if you want me to come back afterwards I’ll do my best and get back,’ but she had to go and finish off the music video.”

Well, it’s nice someone is sticking up for Britney! Check out the pictures that have just been released from the shoot back in the summer. I have to say, for such a disastrous photoshoot, Britney doesn’t lookhalf bad! And truth be told, I didn’t even recognize her in that first shot.

Nicole, that last sentence is hilarous!!!! LOL

  2. fran says:

And did the stress of the paps make her steal $22,000 worth of clothes, shoes, and jewelry from the shoot?

    1. Every picture in every magazine, newspaper, website is PhotoShopped. This is the way the industry works. Do you think FHM, or Maxim, or Cosmo would even exsist without PhotoShop? No. To give shit to Britney because the people taking the picture editing it the way that did is ridiculous.

    2. The woman has had two children in under three years, give her a break. Good for her for maintaining a weight less than the average american.

    3. Think of the pressure that this woman has been put under since she has been a child. Shes has not had a proper upbringing (the for no actual mother or father role models on which to base her own behavior), then has had a long group of people using her for money and she can barely live her own live. Being followed by 50 to 60 people taking your picture anytime you want to go ANYWHERE is enough to send everyone over the edge. Then add in millions of people saying the nastiest things they can think off about you. People you dont know and will never know.

I hope she can get everything back on track, as i hope anyone going through a rediculously stressfull period in thier life can. She is a human being after all, imagine how hard it could be for her to reach out and ask for help, and rely on others when she has been basically alone for most of her teen and adult years.

Those criticizing her have never really seen someone face a severe depression or addiction and i believe that if you had, your hurtful words would not come so easily.

  7. Kerry says:

    I agree with you Canuck girl… 100%!!!

  8. Cynthia says:

    How do you spell PHOTOSHOP!

  9. Cath says:

Anybody else noticed that in all those photos the top of her head is cropped?

Probably to hide the weird hair extensions…

  10. crack says:

Britney is still gorgeous, I think, but she is a little fat for now. Her new album sounds good… Recently, she was said to
join in a millionaire dating site. I guess it may be meetrich.com, millionairematch? wealthymen?who cares. Charlie Sheen has
found his perfect match at meetrich.com.

  11. Helen says:

She looks really good with the brown top.

  12. BS is BS says:

I thought they meant they shot her with a gun. My day got a bit brighter until I discovered it was a stupid photographer.
