George Clooney and Renee Zellweger appear in the December issues of W Magazine. They talk about their upcoming film together, Leatherheads, and much more…

George on the first time he saw prostitutes while he was with his cousin, Miguel:

“I didn’t know what hookers were. We pulled up at the stoplight, and all of these girls came over, and they were like, ‘Hey, do you want to party?’ I looked at Miguel and I said, ‘Chicks love me, man! I’m on fire here!’”

On rewriting the script of Leatherheads to accommodate his age:

“You can’t try to hide your age and you can’t try to pretend it isn’t there. You have to use it as a tool.”

On encouraging Gawker readers to post fake sitings of him:

“They had 6,000 locations for me in the first day.”

On Renee’s role in Leatherheads:

“In movies, so often the guy gets to be the one with all the answers. In this one, she’s the smart one. Which was incredible acting on her part.”

On directing Renee:

“She’s my friend, so I can be really direct. I can say, ‘That’s not a good angle,’ and not try to manipulate her, saying, ‘Well, maybe you’d be looking off over there because the moon is shining.’”

Renee talked about her fear of letting George down in Leatherheads:

“…He doesn’t even know how important his opinion has been to me over the years. I don’t want to disappoint him.”

On George as a director:

“I just get so proud that my head pops off. George is such a confident director, and he has no idea. And he’s a nice person. It gets boring hearing that, but it’s true. Every once in a while you get the real good guy. You’ve got your Jimmy Stewart. You’ve got your Paul Newman. Now you’ve got your George Clooney.”

On Gawker posting sitings of George:

“Oh, I log on every day to see where George is. Oh my God, get your things! He’s at Barneys!…The problem with that is with his schedule these days, the sightings were all true. He was in all 6,000 places that morning—before lunch.”

These two seem really close. From the interview you can just tell they have a great relationship! But, I do have to ask…was it really that hard for Renee to play the smart one in the movie?

Hayden Panettiere’s handbag for Dooney and Bourke, is now available for the measly price of just $500! The designer’s website has a few more details about how the bag came to be.

“What if you had the chance to design the handbag you’ve always wanted? For Hayden Panettiere, currently starring in NBC’s hit show Heroes, it was an exciting opportunity. She began by describing to Peter Dooney just what she envisioned: a large leather shoulder bag with puffy pleats, a buckle closure and great style. The design team made some sketches, then Peter Dooney transformed her ideas into prototypes at Dooney & Bourke’s design studio in Florence, Italy. After several revisions and lots of input from Hayden, the limited edition Hayden Bag was born.”

What do you think? Does Hayden have a future as a handbag designer or should this be a one time only thing? I do LOVE red bags but $500 is a bit pricey… And I also think having an HP tag hanging off a purse is a little odd, it reminds me of HP computers

Kevin Federline’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, really is doing everything in his power to make Britney’s life more difficult. Although Britney and Kevin weren’t present at the time, Kaplan made a request to the judge.

“We’re asking that she personally shouldn’t be the driver of the children.”

For now, the judge won’t make any changes to the current custody order. On November 26th he will review Kevin’s petition to stop Britney from driving with the boys and make a decision.

This really isn’t surprising since she just ran a red light with the boys asleep in the backseat. And it’s definitely true that Britney has had a few driving problems in the past…you know, the usual, just running people’s feet over, driving without a license and hit and runs…but I do think a lot of that is brought on by the paparazzi. If the photographers see Britney is in the car with Sean and Jayden, anyone behind the wheel will probably have some problems.

The paparazzi caught Penelope Cruz leaving the gym after a workout and she isn’t happy about it. I wouldn’t be thrilled to have my picture taken while I was all sweaty either!

And in semi-related news, Salma Hayek, Penelope’s BFF, is said to be suffering from post-partum depression. She is still struggling to lose her baby weight and that’s getting her down as well. Somebody needs to tell Salma that it’s only been two months since she had the baby!!! I really do feel for these Hollywood moms who have SO much pressure to get thin overnight.

What is that court appointed lady doing besides ducking and hiding from the paparazzi?! Extra TV is reporting that Britney Spears ran through a red light while her children were sleeping in the back of the car. The photographers are claiming that she was also texting while driving through. Initially I was so surprised. Then I thought about it for a second and realized I wasn’t so surprised at all. Sigh…

Britney Spears was behind the wheel of her white Mercedes last night as her kids slept in the backseat – but she shocked photographers when she appeared to run a red light.

The newly-blonde pop star, 25, took a left turn through an intersection and right through a red light. Worse, cameras snapped Brit with one hand on the wheel and another on her cell phone! She appeared to be texting.

Her court-appointed monitor was sitting in the passenger seat, but ducked when photographers began snapping away.
