Jessica Simpson's Relationships Planned By Management?

New reports are claiming that Jessica Simpson's management team strategically plant rumors of relationships brewing for their pop star in order to drum up some good publicity. The John Mayer relationship (which I honestly believe was real) was perfectly planned around her new album dropping while the latest rumors about Owen Wilson are to help promote her country transition. They even go onto to say that Owen was specifically selected because he is from Texas and owns the publics sympathy at the moment.
"When Jess last had a new album coming out, that's when she was introduced to John. She's got her first country album coming out, so now she's been conveniently introduced to Owen, who is a fellow Texan. Better yet, the public is sympathetic to him."
What do you think? Is there a side to Hollywood that the public doesn't know about? Do management teams plant these fictitious stories in order to drum up publicity? Do Reese and Jake fall into this category?

absolutely 100%. no doubt in my mind. i think at certain levels of celebrity you are married to your career before you are married (or committed) to a person. tom cruise and nicole kidman? married for 10 years and in that time were in 3 movies together, coincidentally at the heights of their careers. their marriage ended for reasons still no one can clearly cite. at some point these people become puppets and its sort of sad. while i think it is possible to have a true romance in hollywood (kevin bacon, kyra sedgwick) it is rare. the money and fame come first i really really believe.

This is and always has been how hollowood works. I believe that the stars publicist are always the ones putting the stories out their even when its not about relationships, they just get stuff out their to keep their clients relevant and in the public eye. As for Reese, the rumors about her and Jake started before her movie, I dont think she would fake a relationship, I see her as a much stronger woman than that, I think she was just waiting to finalize her divorce and also taking it slow because of her children.
Who knows? But I have to say this: Jessica Simpson does not photograph very well.
Yes. 100%. I believe Tom and Nicole were a farce, and I believe Tom & Katie are a farce. I also believe models are hired to be "escorts" such as Leonardo, McCanaughey, and I have my reasons why I believe this.(as I am sure you can guess)..but Jessica and Nick...I believe were the real deal, but without a chance of surviving, Jessica and John, Reese and Jake...no way-just publicity.....

I have no idea about all that but I am surprised that with Jess and Carrie sise by side I think Carrie is more attractive... I wouldnt have thought that if I didnt see them together. not that it matters.
I love how people say that Jess is so smart, she has to be to play a dumb blonde, and she plays a dumb blonde because she knows it sells. I really doubt it is an act.
Finally,some people who understand the b.s. of hollywood and especiaaly JOE SIMPSON.
