Nicole Richie Sets Up Children's Foundation

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have formed the Richie Madden Children's Foundation, an organization which will provide baby equipment, cots and toys to struggling single mothers. The launch date is said to be on November 18th during a baby shower Paris Hilton is throwing in Beverly Hills. They're asking friends and family members to bring unwanted cribs and strollers to the party which they can give away.

WITH ALL THE MONEY THEIR FRIENDS HAVE, WHY NOT BRING NEW THINGS TO THE SHOWER? WHOULD IT REALLY KILL THEM TO SPEND AN EXTRA $100 OR $200? BY THE WAY, THEY TELL YOU NOT TO REUSE CRIBS OR BUY THEM USED BECAUSE OF RECALLS.

BUT I THINK THEY ARE DOING A GOOD THING BY HELPING MOMS WHO REALLY NEED IT.
