Dennis Quaid's Twin Babies Are Fighting For Their Lives
This is so sad...in every parent's biggest nightmare, Dennis Quaid's twin babies, Thomas Boone and Zoe Grace, were given an overdose of Heparin at Cedars Sinai Hospital. Babies normally receive 10 units of the medicine, which is used to "to flush out IV lines and prevent blood clots," according to TMZ. Dennis' little ones were given 10,000 units.
"Sunday night, both babies started to "bleed out." Both babies are now at Cedars in the neo-natal intensive care unit where we're told they are stable...As many as thirteen patients at Cedars were mistakenly given the overdose of Heparin, but the effects are more critical because of the age and weight of the twins."
This story almost made me cry, I can't even imagine having that happen. As a parent that has got to be your worst nightmare come true. My heart goes out to them right now and I hope the babies are able to make a speedy recovery.

My sincerest prayers to the family and the babies for a speedy recovery!
Dennis is my main crush, ever since the Big Easy. My heart goes out to all of them. May those sweet babies recover very quickly. Precious little angels.
My thoughts and prayers are most definitely with all those that have been affected by this. How could this happen! I hope everyone will be alright.
I said a prayer for those babies. My gosh. How horrible. Bless their entire family.
OMG. In my prayers. How does this keep happening? Why do they package the adult and neonatal the same still after so many senseless deaths???????

This is why you only go to doctors in NY!
OMG!!!!!!!!!! they are in my prayers!
What the... wow. How could someone make that big of a mistake? Hopefully something is done about that. I will keep them in my thoughts, that is just horrible.
Horrible! The companies definitely need more preventative measures in place.
