Pete Wentz Tries To Protect Ashlee Simspon

Pete Wentz has asked the band Neurosonic to stop promoting their song bashing long time girlfriend, Ashlee Simpson. The song “So Many People” pokes fun at Ashlee’s SNL performance where she was caught lip synching. Pete has personally written to the band begging them to let it go. I doubt they will listen. In case you haven’t seen the video, here ya go.

I have never felt compelled to write a comment before, but after seeing that I feel so bad for ashlee simpson because it the entire song is about her and makes fun of things that are obviously serious psychological problems. Instead of making a comment about our society and our cultures obsessions, the song is just cruelly making fun of a single person, who is not a representative of the problems in our society. WOW. SO MEAN. For people that probably got picked on themselves in the past, they are being very rude on a very public scale.

the music portion is pretty good, but damn that lead singer has to go. his voice is highly annoying. i personally feel nothing for ashley simpson either way. but i do wish she would go away.
