Katherine Heigl Talks About Knocked Up And Greys

Katherine Heigl recently told Vanity Fair that she felt Knocked Up was "a little sexist."
"It paints the women as shrews, as humorless and uptight, and it paints the men as goofy, fun-loving guys."
Katherine also spoke out about her Grey's Anatomy character, Izzie, and the fling Izzie had with a married man.
"It was a ratings ploy," she says. "I'm trying to figure her out and keep her real."
Interesting. If you saw it, did you think Knocked Up was sexist?Click on thumbnails to see more pictures of Katherine out and about in Hollywood.

Yeah, it really was sexist and really appreciate that she says that it was hard for her to play that role.

But the movie was hilarious nonetheless.

This movie was about exageration: the guys were dumber and goofer than people are, and the ladies more uptight. Was it sexist, sure, but I think that was the intention.

Sexist, stupid, ridiculous, and unbelievable. Who does those things? Any adult intelligent pregnant women, who without complaint is hanging out in a house full of people smoking pot, already needs their kid taken away. Portrayed marriage as this horrible, angry thing. Sooo thought it was going to be cute. Sooo disappointed. A few funny moments, but could have been done so much better!

She is a little annoying and preaches a lot. Superficially, she is always well put together.

I dont think it was sexist, it was a comedy. I love all comedies like Knocked Up... it takes a small stereotype and blows it all out of proportion... thats what makes it so funny!

i just saw this movie over the weekend... WoW! was i disappointed... not only is the movie sexist, but also STUPID! it had some mildly amusing moments (and i luvvv paul rudd), but #27 hit it on the mark... it is sooo unbelievable that this woman would let this idiot buy her a drink... let alone, have sex with her... and THEN involve this loser in the life of the baby. this weird nerdy boy movie genre is getting tired...
