Dennis Quaid's Twins Have Fully Recovered

THANK GOODNESS! This was BY FAR the worst story of 2007. I am so happy to hear that despite a potentially fatal hospital mix up, Dennis Quaid's twins have made a full recovery.

"The twins are back home," Loggans said of the newborns, Boone and Zoe. "Their condition is fantastic, they're smiling. Zoe looks like her mom, and Boone looks like his dad. They've fully recovered from the accident and it's doubtful they'll suffer long-term effects from the overdose."

Yeah, I am happy to hear that these babies are doing well. I read somewhere that they are going to sue the pharmaceutical company that makes the drug Heparin. That kind of confused me because I thought the people responsible for the negligence were Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Maybe I read the story wrong. Either way, just glad the babies are okay and will make a complete recovery.

^I agree with Debby. The fault is with the staff/hospital who administered the drug.

They are suing the pharmaceutical company because they said the vials the contain the adult and child dose look too similar (ie their main difference in appearance is the color of the cap).

Debby- I read in another article that the reason they are suing is because 3 babies died earlier in the year in Indiana and the company failed to do a recall or issue warnings of the potential for a mix-up with the two vials.

Fantastic news!
