A few weeks ago we talked about how Hilary Duff gets her hair to do that half up poof thing. Now, I am interested in learning how Hayden Panettiere gets the full ponytail up and running to look like this. TELL ME PLEASE! Do I tease? Hairspray? Pony first then pull? If you want to see it done, The Telegraph(in the UK) has a video that highlights three quick party hair styles. I did the poof this weekend and just pulled it all up. It was fantastic (and easy!).

i do this from time to time its better then just a normal pony tail ive been doing it since high school.. it went away for a bit but it seems to be coming back instyle i just hate it when peopel only do a little bump in the front BLAH!
if you have a strong middle part you HAVE to tease your hair where you want the bump or else you will get two seperate bumps because of the darn part then you smooth it on the top so it doesnt look teased (keep that hidden) then you make a pony i have shorter hair so i have to use a ton of bobby pins. hair spray helps tons too. easy once you learn it first time i tried it i had to spend n hour infront of the mirror

my sister dose this, she teases it from behind where she wants the poof. then she puills it up and runs a comb over the poof so it is smooth.
Hi there,
what you do is, you pull your hair up slick in a ponytail and tie it up. from there you grab some hair close to the hair grip with your thumb and index finger and put forward, the hair should bubble straight away.
can use a small clip (that matches your hair) to hold your bubble in place or use hairspray. hope this helps
Ugh, I hate that poof thing! It looks like a pompadour and is sooooo not flattering on anyone that does it! I stick to the Heidi Klum messy pull back. It looks great!
Tease the crown, then smooth, pull into a ponytail in middle of head.

i love that style!
i leave some of my "bangs" out and put my hair up in a ponytail then tease the back of my hair and comb over the front to smooth it out — after i shape it i clip it into place! i use spray wax to keep the style with out the flaking!

So, very easy. Comb your hair back. grab the top section, the smaller the section the more steady poof, besure to grab a lot of hair, dont just grab the front bit. Then do the bendy thing and hold it. Then put some clips on the back to hold it. Make a pony tail.
Warning, I have thick curly hair. Bit of teasing may be necessary for flat straight hair. :s Its just mostly about grabbing and bending it enough.
