Jessica Simpson wants to be taken seriously as an actress…soooo, she’s going to take her clothes off. That makes a lot of sense, right?

“Jessica is in the running for a role that, if she gets it, will put her right on the map in terms of acting. The only hitch is that the script requires a number of quite graphic scenes including a full-frontal nude scene. Jessica is so desperate to land the role and get the industry’s respect that she’s ready to go against her better judgment, and her family, by agreeing to bare all”

Earlier on in the year her father had forced her to turn down a potential Oscar winning role as a porn star.

He said: “The last script that came to us was for Jessica to be a porn star. We were promised we would win an Oscar with that. I told them, ‘I think we’ll just buy a statue of a little man and keep our clothes on.’”

All the major media outlets were reporting that this afternoon Britney Spears was set to attend her court-ordered deposition. I waited patiently to see what would really happen.  Turns out that Britney was so sick that she couldn’t make it. A new court date has been set, but not announced to the press.

“I was told of a general [medical] condition, and [Spears] felt she couldn’t attend,” Mark Vincent Kaplan said outside his Los Angeles office.

A new date was selected, but not revealed. Federline’s attorney indicated he “will pursue” a court sanction against the pop star for failing to show.

Kaplan has been trying to get Britney under oath for over a year now. There is always 2008!!

Ed Norton and Collin Farrell together in a movie??? I don’t even need to know what the plot is about…count me in LOVE both of them! For those of you who are a bit pickier and want hear more about the movie before putting it on your must see list, here’s a plot summary from IMDb.

“A saga centered on a multi-generational family of New York City Police officers. The family’s moral codes are tested when Ray Tierney (Edward Norton), investigates a case that reveals an incendiary police corruption scandal involving his own brother-in-law (Colin Farrell). The movie comes out next March. Who else will be going to go see it besides me?

Brooke Hogan wore a full length white sun dress in Miami while she ran a few errands, one of which was a Starbucks stop. You can’t go wrong with a long summer dress, although coming from NY, I can’t wrap my head around being able to wear one in December. Looks like the two girls are wearing the same style, just a different length. What do you guys think?
