SPEARS ALERT!!! No, not that one, silly...Britney Spears' little sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, is pregnant according to OK! magazine. Jamie Lynn, who is 16, apparently tells the magazine, which is scheduled to hit newsstands Wednesday, that the baby's father is Casey Aldridge, her "long time" boyfriend whom she met at church. Do you think she was singing "You Want a Piece of Me" during their time in CCD together?
Nickelodeon, which produces her show, Zoey 101, has already released this following statement:
"We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being."

I am simply amazed that some people here think if you use contraception then you will not get pregnant. Do you live under a stone? The only 100% sure way to not get pregnant is never to have sex.
And to the mothers who want their daughters to look up to sweet chaste 16 year olds who are completely satisfied with sweet kisses with their BFs. Get real. Have a real talk with you daughters about sex and desire. No one here remembers what is like to be 16?
The only thing left to say is that is one brave young woman to keep the pregnancy. I am impressed.

i think that it is ok because we all make misteaks no body is perfect but i do think that a mother shouldnt let a child see a 19 year old thats crazy! gos bless that family i hope she dosent turn out to be a mom like her big sister. and her mom needs a dummy slap no wonder brittany turned out like she did.
I think that Britney and Jamie think they can do whatever they want and have no boundaries. I think their mother never told them no and always let them do what they wanted. (I guess bc Brit was paying the bills) That must explain why she let her 16 year old daughter shack up with a 19 year old. I am glad her book wont be out, she could write one called "How to turn your daughter into a lunitic and how to encourage your daughter to be a slut at such a young age"

There are plenty of poor people who have kids at 16 and turn out ok. I am not excusing her behavior, but I think this just proves that her mother is a crappy mom. Its sad though, she had a promising career.

I am now 17, and I will never even want to think about sex throughout my teens until I reach in my 20's (not marriage). Going through this kind of stuff in my teens like peer pressure is hard, and I know that most teens are have to face these situations in life before graduation (if they will make it through there).
The only thing I do care in life for myself is not to think about what other people are doing, because it will get worst, and I never had a boyfriend before, so I don't really want think about it. I have so much life ahead of me why do I want to waste it.
Omg wy are ppl overeacting she's allowed to do wat she wants shes an adult now. anyway ppl are only making a big deal out of it because shes an actress and britneys sister. there are thousands of teenage pregnancies all over the world and nobody notices them. anyway i think that she made the right decision keeping the baby because its not natural to get an abortion and anyway shes allowed to be a mother if she wants. also dont think that saying things about her can change anything coz shes already decided to keep the baby and its her decision not anyone elses if she wants to go through with having a baby then she can.
