Giada De Laurentiis Hopes Her Baby Will Follow In Her Footsteps

Giada De Laurentiis is hoping that her baby will want to follow in her footsteps and have a love for all things culinary, but she doesn't have high hopes. She told Redbook Magazine,
"I hope I can pass on the love of food to my child the way my family did to me," De Laurentiis, 37, tells Redbook" for its January issue. "We spent a lot of warm, loving times in the kitchen. But watch, I will probably end up with a child who not only doesn't care about food, but doesn't ever want to set foot in a kitchen!"
Giada is so into cooking that she even has food related nicknames for her unborn child,
"We call the baby 'the lemon,'" De Laurentiis says. "It started off as 'the lima bean,' but now we've moved to 'the lemon,' and pretty soon, it'll probably be 'the melon.'"
LOVE her! And what she says is so true. It seems likes kids always rebel from doing whatever it is their parents hope they will be interested in :)

I love her show on the food network and watch it daily. She seems like such a sweet person.
i love her show and i think that she is gorgeous but i dont think thats a flattering magazine pic of her. to teethy she does smile like that but this pic is just toooo much makes her look like a puppet or something :S

Her show is so boring, puts me half to sleep. She tries to be funny, but not working. And, yeah I agree, that picture is too much teeth. I wonder why they even accepted that smile as passable, with magazines being so picky about their front covers and all.
She looks like a bratz doll in this picture, only with bigger teeth.

Sex sells which Giada plays on. Showing so much cleavage...its not project runway like Heidi Klum, appropriate. Obviously, much low self esteem. Evident not pure Italian as Rachael Ray exhibits. Noted surly looks to Rachael whowon Iron Chef w/ Batali....Wake up people...but if sex sells on foodnetwork...recipes generally Ok...Chef skills questionable according to standards. dream on America.
