Tweed seems to be extremely popular at the moment but it would appear that the Harris Tweed industry is virtually dead with their main mill closing. This is strange when you consider the likes of Nike made a huge purchase recently. Tweed, used correctly, can look cool but I think that the pale boots worn would not last long if worn on the street!
