I can’t believe it. I have chills up and down my body. I want to cry and I don’t even know the guy. He was too young. Too talented.

Heath Ledger was found dead in his apartment at the age of 28. Poor Matilda! He was an amazing actor and a good father. Pills were found near the body.

At 3:31 p.m., a masseuse arrived at Apartment 5A in the building, at 421 Broome Street in SoHo, for an appointment with Mr. Ledger, the police said. The masseuse was let in to the home by a housekeeper, who then knocked on the door of Mr. Ledger’s bedroom. When no one answered, the housekeeper and the masseuse opened the bedroom and found Mr. Ledger naked and unconscious on a bed. They shook him, but he did not respond. They immediately called the authorities.

The police said they did not suspect foul play. Officials said pills were found near the body.

I hope that Michelle Williams and Heath’s family found out prior to the press.

Update: It was Mary Kate Olsen’s apartment.

Update 2: Signs are pointing to suicide.

Update 3: Law enforcement tells TMZ Ledger’s body was found face down on the bedroom floor. There is no visible signs of any trauma.

Update 5: May or may not be Mary Kate’s apartment. Now sources are telling TMZ otherwise.

Update 6: Us Magazine has a close friend claiming that Heath was having a hard time getting sober.

“This is terrible and I’m in shock,” a close friend of Ledger’s tells Usmagazine.com. “But to tell you the truth… we saw it coming.”

“Heath has gone though a rough road of trying to get sober,” the source tells Us.

“Things were very dark,” the source says. “His one joy was Matilda.” Matilda is his 2-year-old daughter with ex-wife Michelle Williams. They split in September.

“Everything else was misery for him,” adds the source. “Unfortunately he was too late in getting help.”

Update 7: Warner Bros. issues a statement.

“The studio is stunned and devastated by this tragic news. The entertainment community has lost an enormous talent. Heath was a brilliant actor and an exceptional person. Our hearts go out to his family and friends.”

Update 8: Sleeping meds?

The pills appeared to be over-the-counter sleeping medication, said police spokeswoman Barbara Chen.

Update 9: I won’t post it but people are already post memorabilia and remembrance ribbons in Heath’s name on eBay. GROSS!!!

Update 10: He was found naked, there is a possibility he had pneumonia, and his autopsy will be conducted on Wednesday.

Update 11: Nicole Kidman released a statement:

“What a terrible tragedy,” Kidman said through her publicist Wendy Day.

“My heart goes out to Heath’s family.”

Update 12: Mel Gibson released a statement as well:

“I had such great hope for him,” Gibson told the Entertainment Tonight website.

“He was just taking off and to lose his life at such a young age is a tragic loss. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.”

Nicole Richie reportedly used a mirror to watch Harlow Winter Kate being born. Interesting…did anyone else use that technique during labor???

“A nurse handed Nicole a mirror so she could see the birth. At first she was too afraid, but she watched during the final few pushes.However, there were worrying moments for Nicole and fiancé Joel Madden when Harlow turned a scary shade of blue.

But the doctor soon reassured the new parents that everything was OK and placed Harlow on Nicole’s chest while Joel nervously cut the cord.”

After the birth Nicole then sent Christina Aguilera a little note to tell her she was in her thoughts and wish her luck with the delivery of her son. That was sweet of Nicole! I can’t believe she had the presence of mind, after going through labor, to send a note! Or maybe Joel did it for her, who knows.

I almost feel bad for Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise. It’s been a few years, they are married, and have a child. Yet some of the media and public still can’t accept their happiness. I usually don’t post pictures like this, but that drawing of Tom is out of control!!

After the net circulation of this video showing Amy Winehouse doing drugs, the singer has finally seen herself through the public eye. The Sun is reporting that she has officially checked herself into rehab to get the help she so desperately needs. And not that this is as important, but Amy is back to the brunette hive. She ditched the blonde!

It looks like Britney Spears may finally be starting to take things in her life seriously. First, she actually showed up at the deposition the other day, and stayed for two whole hours while she was grilled about her parenting skills. And now, we have these pictures of Britney attending rehearsals at the Millenium Dance Complex for Hot As Ice. I wonder if all the criticism for the Gimme More video affected her enough that she wants to make a more memorable video for this next single. People had details on the rehearsal,

“She is working on the choreography for her song ‘Hot as Ice,’” Baker said, “She rehearsed an amazing routine with a chair. Britney was in an upbeat mood. I let her use my personal copy of Blackout. She forgot her own CD.”

Whether it turns out to be amazing, or a total disaster, either way the whole world is watching….I can’t help myself…I know I’ll be interested to see the end result!
