Wow, that is sooo.. unfair :b
I hope I will look like that 2 weeks after giving birth, the day I get pregnant xD
The bottom line is for all pregnant women to eat right, exercise, get plenty of rest, and make sure the proper weight gain is maintained. After my first baby, I was back into shape immediately. Breast feeding helped me burn extra calories and get back into shape immediately and nursing is great for baby too.

It is no big secret about looking great after having a baby. Pregnant women need to gain the required weight during pregnancy; nothing more and nothing less.
Plus having 26 year old skin elasticity helps a bit too.
OMGosh!!! she was out getting coffee!!! who are you to say if she can leave the house? her babay is most likely at HOME with a trusted loved one! you have some nerve saying this is a "habit"

Due to circumstance I had to go back to work when my child was 6 weeks old. I had my first big night out when she was 2 weeks old!! I am a fantastic mother by anyones standards (sorry if I sound big headed) Anyway everyone wants to help at this early stage till they are fed up so I say make the most of it!

stevensvox, you sound pretty strange in your thinking! is it any of YOUR concern who watches her baby? didnt think so! when you have a baby it does nto damn you to be houseridden! she can go out whenever she wants and that certainly does not make her a bad mother! she was out for part of the day big deal!! why are you SO pressed and think you know everything about this girl?
i think there is absolutely nothing wrong with her going out of the house!! im sure she is a much better mom then youll ever be!!
