The plan was in place for a few hours before the horde of police arrived to escort Britney Spears to the hospital. “A police convoy, stretching the length of a football field, accompanied the ambulance as it drove down Coldwater Canyon Boulevard.” Why so many law enforcers? It has been said to keep the paparazzi a safe distance away.
The North Hollywood Police Department dispatched about eight officers to Spears’ hilltop house in Studio City about 12:55 a.m. Thursday, said the official, who asked not to be identified because he’s not authorized to comment publicly. The group at Spears’ house included plainclothes officers, motorcycle police, ambulance crews and some police “brass,” the official said. The plan to transport Spears had been in the works for the better part of the day, the official said.
Maybe she finally understands that she needs some help. Hopefully, this is the beginning of the end to the madness. Unfortunately, it sounds like something bad has happened as the police broke open her community gates to get in, and her father was seen crying. Lynn and Sam both accompanied Britney to the hospital. I’m a little nervous.And in totally random news, Bobby Trendy showed up to find out what the status was of the whole situation.
UPDATE: She is being held at the hospital on a mental health order.UPDATE 2: It appears that Britney has given Sam the right to make decisions for her and her parents are not happy. In fact, it has been reported that Britney’s parents (specifically Jamie) were screaming at Sam in the halls of the hospital.Update 3: It was initially reported that Britney attempted suicide. But that’s not true.Update 4: She was very calm. Not manic at all. Outlets are reporting on how very relaxed she was during the whole thing.

This is a waste of tax payers money. Just think how much it will cost the government to have so many police needed to escort Ms. Spears to the hospital. Her downfall is just Karma. When you have money – the law is on your side. You get speciai privileges than the average john does.
Good news. I hope that Britney is kept in hospital for a while this time and gets the help she needs. Also, she needs to get out of Los Angeles. Its an unhealthy place to live, with all the paps around. She should go home to Kentwood.
