Justin Chambers Checked Himself Into The Psych Ward At UCLA Medicial Center

Justin Chambers, Dr. Alex Karev on “Grey’s Anatomy,” wanted some help combating a sleeping disorder that has been ailing him so he checked himself into the psych ward at UCLA Medical Center. Yes, it’s the same place that Britney Spears is being held. Either he had second thoughts or the team is a bunch of miracle workers because Justin remained in the ward for three days (Monday to Wednesday). Hopefully, they found a way to correct the disorder.

The rep claims Chambers, a married father of five, was “exhausted and suffers from a sleeping disorder. He went in voluntarily to get some help.”

Quite honestly, if I had 5 kids, I would check myself in as well just to get some sleep. I only have 2 kids and never would have thought of that as an option to finally get some rest. :)

kudos for him! hope he gets better.

I had no idea you would go to the psych ward for a sleeping disorder. Maybe all of those 5 kids also drove him insane.

You can go to a psych ward for a sleeping disorder. Sometimes, sleep disorders relate to anxiety etc. So it makes sense to me.

Poor guy! I am guessing that having 5 children would keep a parent UP at night!

I suffer from a sleep disorder and every three weeks, I go in to Butler, a local psych ward, so they can read my sleeping habits with a number of different machines/technologies. I am adamant of not using any sleeping medications, but they are definitely helpful to those with sleeping problems. I have super high anxiety and it all stems from sleeping issues.

Shan, why are against sleeping pills if they help? just curious.

    What is a "Medicial Center"?????
Sounds like foreigners are writing this stuff. The "Paps" come in to work for the 2nd half.
