Janet Jackson Not Ready For Children

I think it is commendable that Janet Jackson acknowledges she isn’t ready to have children. But at the same time, she is 41. With today’s science, I guess a woman’s window of opportunity stays open longer. Either way, Janet still thinks she needs more time to live care (and kid) free.

“I just have to hurry up. I get so much pressure from people I don’t even know and I think, “My God, am I missing my moment?’ “Even my mother mentioned something to me the other day. But now you can have your eggs frozen and there are all sorts of things you can do. “I’ve still got time so I think I’m okay. I’ve got to get a little more kid out of me first before I move on and be childish with my child.”

Just admit you dont want kids. Its ok really. Living childfree is good if thats what you choose. Not everyone want to be a parent.

btw…yes, if I ever feel like I am in a position to financially take care of a child, I will adopt.

scorp69, I agree with some of your comments. . If you choose not to have kids, that is your right, although I think your reason for not having children (overpopulation) is silly; I respect it. Just as you have the right not to have children, people have the right to have their own "biological" child. Not everyone wants to adopt someone elses mistake.

Supposedly she already has a daughter who is grown now and who she never raised. I think the girl was brought up by relatives or something. Am I the only person who has heard that?

Mel #9 – I have heard that too.
