A Joker action figure modeled after Heath Ledger’s character in The Dark Knight is going to be released.Mattel will market the toys with the release of the movie this summer.There are two versions you’ll be able to buy, one with a rocket launcher and another with a knife.
At first I thought this was in really poor taste, all things considered, but then I found out that Heath’s family has give their blessing for these dolls to come out.
A spokesman for the star’s family says, “Heath was very proud of his work in the film and his family is aware and supportive of the plans for the movie.”

ive been a heath fan since the highly medicore 10 things i hate about you and even LIKED a knights tale which some of my history buff peers hated, patriot awesome. But,if he had never achieved brokeback mountain i just dont know how interested most of the world would be in his death. He was a movie star but never a superstar. Its pretty annoying and disgraceful when other artists fall and no one cares after 6 hours of initially hearing it. Brad Renfro is a perfect example. Hes been in americas eyes since he was a child. He passes away tragically and a few days later Heath dies and no one cares about Brad.
