Baby Gifts Are Pouring In For J-Lo

I love when my friends have babies since shopping for a wee one is so much fun! It looks like J-Lo's family and friends are in the same frame of mind...People is reporting that the twins have received tons of pillows with their names embroidered on them and that someone also went out and purchased matching baby carriers as well from Baby K'tan.
In other news, J-Lo's family was also seen shopping at Baby Gap last week while in the meantime Jennifer is "is resting comfortably at home."
I've always thought it's funny when they release these statements saying the mom is "resting comfortably." I think most new moms know that resting comfortably is the LAST thing you're able to do when you have a newborn!

Why do people insist on giving gifts to wealthy people when there are babies out there that have NOTHING. I agree donate the money you would have spent to a charity for children. It might not be as much fun as shopping, but the gratification would be much better. I mean, how many monogrammed pillows and cashmere sweaters can 2 babies really use. Rich or not, they still puke.
The best baby gifts for wealthy new parents is a donation to a homeless family shelter or child protection charity.
Anything else is obscene.
