Kelly Clarkson Tries To Stay Away From The Hype

If you were a celebrity, would you buy the rags and read blogs to see what people thought of you? I don't know if I could resist. I'm a glutton for punishment, so I think I would become a bit obsessed with finding the trash talkers. Kelly Clarkson, on the other hand, is a bit smarter than me and stays away from it all. She knows that she is missing out on some praise... but Kelly rather avoid all the negativity to help stay sane.

"I don't watch much TV, I'm actually quite a reader. I don't really read magazines and when I say don't really, I don't. I don't want to read anything good or bad, because when you see the good you have to see the bad. I don't want a big head and I also don't want to be depressed. So I kind of live in my own bubble and take care of myself."
