Jessica Simpson and the
Pussycat Dolls were going to head overseas
to entertain the troops...looks like the trip has become a reality. Here are a few pictures of Jessica at the airport heading out to Kuwait. Did anyone else notice the buttons on her shirt? They say, "Peace, stop war." I zoomed in on them so you can all take a look.Early the same day she was at Dillard's for a signing. Jessica's a busy girl!

I read an article today on msnbc that talked about how much her trip is costing, though, and the fact that she is not spending a dime or footing her own bill. She has a private plane, her dad, her hairdresser, etc., and she is not paying for any of it.
Jessica is pathetic and this is her only way of getting media attention.

Jessica Simpson is headlining the Operation MySpace concert in Kuwait Monday, but industry insiders are wondering how Simpson is going to pull off making her performance look like a gift to the troops given how little time she’s spending with them and the exorbitant expense required to shuttle Simpson overseas and back to the U.S.
According to a source close to the Simpson camp, a private plane carrying Simpson and her entourage — which includes dad Joe, hairstylist Ken Paves, her personal assistant and a stylist — left L.A. and was due in Kuwait the evening of March 9. Total cost for the plane was approximately $150,000. (Reps for Simpson maintain that Simpson did not fly privately.)
Someone will be picking up the tab for accommodations as well, even though it’s been touted that Simpson will be forgoing her standard hotel suite to spend the night living like the troops in a bunk. The source close to Simpson predicts that any time spent in a bunk will last no longer than the time it takes for a photo.
“This isn’t a charity show. The people around Jessica aren’t donating their time or cutting their rates as if this was Jess’s charity Operation Smile. Someone is picking up the tab, and it’s not going to be Jessica.â€
When the concert is over, Simpson has about three hours for quality time with the troops before her plane takes off again. “Literally, she’s going to sing ‘These Boots Are Made for Walking,’ and she’s going to be walking herself right back onto that plane,†said the source.
Bitch wants to be paid, and have her stylist paid, her make up artist paid, and Ken Paves given $10,000 a day to do her ratty ass weave. Also, our tax payer money is paying for Papa Joe to go. Simpson is nothing but a greedy WHORE!!!

#32, You sound very bitter towards someone you will never even meet. Scary! Just about every celeb that goes overseas gets some kind of media attention. Remember Angelina Jolie? Even Nick Lachey makes his charity work very public. Drew Barrymore was just on Oprah doing the same. They all want good press. Give this girl a break. Whatever reason you hate her she is taking the time to go over there and lift the spirits of our fine young men and women. I know quite a few people serving our country and they are THRILLED she is going. Who cares how she gets there or with who, the point is she is there while you are here bashing her. Go take a trip overseas ourself if you think you can do a better job. Sounds like you are jealous, otherwise she would not bring up such strong emotions in you. By the way, she has a lot to be jealous of.
