Janet Jackson Hospitalized For The Flu

Shortness of breath caused Janet Jackson's people to take her to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles late last night. Boy that bug is going around!! Hitting the press circuit hard isn't helping her get better either. Janet's rep says she is doing better today.

"Janet is fine. She's just battling this flu like everyone else."

I was, and I am not famous. A six year old died of the flu last week in the state next to mine. Bet they wish they brought him to the hospital.

yeah...folks do go to the hospital for the flu...my coworker did...some of us were sick alot as kids and have emergency room anxiety...the rest go to the hospital...also...janet is getting up there in years and must take care of her self...immune system may be low from working alot , working out, and not eating...blah, blah, blah...when is the next half naked cover coming out?

people who go to the hospital for the flu are generally kids and the elderly! most healthy 40 year old adults do not requires hospitalization for the flu.

did you guys ever think that maybe the shortness of breath was so severe that she might have needed oxygen. people can and are hospiltalized A LOT for the flu. it can cause other problems, just like chicken pox can be severe. shortness of breath is nothing to mess around with.

Ok, so "a lot" of people go to the hospital for the flu, but it is inaccurate to say she is being treated "like everyone else" because not everyone goes to the hospital for the flu.
