Scarlett Johansson The Director?

Is it every actor’s dream to direct? Or does it just seem that way?

Scarlett Johansson got behind the camera for the first time, making her directorial debut in a short film which will be part of an upcoming anthology titled ‘New York, I Love You’. Johansson directed Kevin Bacon in the short, which was filmed outside a subway station and on a pier in Coney Island, Brooklyn.

I’m actually interested in seeing the series…. being that I live here. So, I wish her and the series much success.

I absolutely loved "Ghost World" and "Lost in Translation" was magical to me. But she *is* pretty wooden. I really think she is beautiful, but when I hear her talk I think: "we would NEVER be friends".

Ah, well…. She should just sit there and look pretty, I think…

I loved her in "The girl with the pearl earring" and in "Match Point".
I think it is great that she tries out other things.

Is she really a director? I thought that if you were behind the camera, you were a cameraman. that would make more sense with her.
