Another Celebrity Suicide Attempt?

Steve-O, most famous for his crazy antics on Jacka&$, is currently being held at Cedars Sinai (the most popular hospital in the nation). Supposedly, there was a suicide note and all. Witnesses are claiming that there were burns on his skin all over his body which I guess I don't find too shocking since that is what he does as a profession.
"Steve is stabilized on meds at this point," the source told Star. "He was also treated for burns on his skin as if he had been putting cigarettes out on his own body."
"Right now he's in his extreme mania," the family member said. "His concerned friends and family are hoping he'll seek treatment. He doesn't need jail, he needs therapy. We're just really hoping that this will be the wake-up call that gets him back to himself."
But the situation escalated over the weekend when Steve-O, 33, e-mailed suicide notes to several friends, blaming a broken romance. Eventually a woman friend and his bodyguard took him to the hospital around 2pm on Sunday. But he caused a major scene in the hospital, says one insider.
"Steve started flipping out. He told doctors he wanted to hurt himself badly. He wanted to break every bone in his body one by one."
Family and friends are claiming Steve suffers from bipolar disorder. Let's hope this whole story isn't true.

a relatively high proportion of celebrities are mentally ill, particularly bi-polar, which leads them to have delusions of grandeur (which would lead someone to seek fame and fortune). So its not surprise they have such a high rate of attempted suicides and exhibit other forms of self harming behaviors.
I remember watching a dvd he had out, and it showed him high and drunk in his place. I am sorry, but if I had to live in his place... I would want to burn myself and break all my bones too. It was disgusting! He was so drunk that he pissed in his kitchen and was walking around in garbage. God, imagine the smell! Partying all the time is probably fun, but my god, spring for some cash to have someone clean up your place while you are out.
Hang on, is there a new Jackass movie or something coming out? Is there anything out that this could draw publicity to? Sad to say, but it seems the only time people come out of the shadows is when they have shit to promote.
I love the show and like the guy,hope he is fine and make more shows:)) !
