Christian Bale At "The Big Picture '08"

Any reason to post pictures of Christian Bale is a good reason. Here he is attending, "The Big Picture '08" at ShoWest. He was photographed posing with Maggie Gyllenhaal Batman's new love interest, since Katie isn't going to be reprising her role. I'm curious what you think of the choice of replacements? Is Maggie the way to go, or would you have picked someone different?

I agree with CanuckGirl on this one. When I saw the movie Stranger than Fiction the plot seemed kind of off because she was the romantic interest.

Now Mr. Bale, I could stare at him all day long!

Katie is the only way to go. Nothing beats the original actress. Plus recast is so soap opera and it hurts the realism of Nolan, the fantasy and continuity of the story.

Christian Bale and Katie Holmes looks uberdelish on the bigscreen and its believable that Bruce Wayne falls in love with someone like Katie.

nothing against her personally, but i think maggie was a horrible choice as was katie. i am not sure who is out there that would be better, but it would have to be someone more attractive than maggie. this is batmans love interest after all... she should be physically impressive, not like a bland bowl of oatmeal.

When you think of Wisconsin, not a whole lot comes to mind... The next couple weeks Christian Bale AND Johnny Depp are about half hour from where I live shooting a new movie. I would LOVE to run into them at the local bar. Could you imagine?!
