Britney Spears Ordered To Pay $375K To Cover Federline's Court Fees

CAN YOU IMAGINE?! $375K? Why should Britney Spears have to pay his court fees? I don't get the system. I really don't. Doesn't Kevin Federline have at least a million dollars on his own? I can understand covering the fees for the days she just didn't show. But not the entire custody battle. Am I wrong here?Apparently, Kevin's attorney has been over-billing. But that's not Britney's problem is it?

Spears' attorney Stacy Phillips argued that Kaplan was overbilling and that Federline can pay his own legal bills, but Gordon wrote that Spears' actions led to a great majority of the litigation and delays in the case.

Her legs look awful! The sun shows all her cellulite. She is not naturaly thin girl and she used to worked very hard to stay fit. If she was not famous she would be 200 pounds by now.

Photoshop. Also, she SHOULD pay those fees. They appeared in court more than any couple because of HER antics, not his. How many times did they have to go to court because Kevin found himself in a 5150 situation? So rightfully she should cover those costs. And can we not post any more bad pictures of Britbrit? DIdnt you say you were doing your part in not indulging the masses with everything bad?

She should pay for anything and everything outside of what is considered necessary in a standard divorce settlement. It is because of her behavior that this settlement is so dragged out and expensive.

If she would have shown up to court like she was supposed to and not gotten herself involved in the messes she was in, these court fees would not be so high. She led to this, so yes, she should pay. Simple as that.

The point you all are missing is "REASONABLE LEGAL FEES" $375,000 is not reasonable. And..... it is not over yet. There are more bills to come. They are gouging her. She is making a lot of people rich and they are milking her for all they can get and it is sick.

Who on this blog could afford that kind of bill? It is NOT reasonable. Just because she has money, should not determine a "reasonable" lawyers fee. These people are profiting from her mental illness and it is SICK!

The judges are in bed with the lawyers and creating job security.

If this is OK for her to be treated this way, then all in divorce should be treated this way. I dare say if any of you were in her shoes you might see things differently.

Justice is NOT free in this country. In fact, it has a large price tag, vacation homes and fancy cars. This is NOT what our founding fathers had in mind.
