It had been previously reported that Miley Cyrus had officially changed her name, but those reports were not true. TMZ got their hands on the court documents, and they were just filed by Miley’s parents this past Friday. The papers state the reason for the name change,
Destiny Hope Cyrus has been commonly known as Miley Cyrus since she was a young child. The Change of Name is requested to make her commonly used name the same as her legal name.

She was telling me over the weekend and I couldn’t believe it would be so hard to do such a thing. As an adult, I removed my middle name and had no problem whatsoever.By the way, the pictures are from the weekend.Miley went shopping with a friend at Urban Outfitters and then out for dinner at P.F.
