I choked up a bit when I read this. Ryan Phillippe was asked by Howard Stern what he thought about Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan answered respectfully. I think think it is such a shame that Ryan and Reese Witherspoon couldn’t work things out - but so is life. In the end, they have kids and will be a part of one another’s lives until the end.

“He’s a good dude,” Phillippe said on The Howard Stern Show Thursday. “I love her and I want her to be happy, and it seems like she is.”

Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox have both signed up to be on the honorary advisory board of Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation.  Guess who else is taking part…Brad Pitt!  The goal is to raise $1 million for the foundation in just two weeks.
See, it’s things like these that make me think the supposed beef between Jennifer, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt is 100% made up by the media.  If they can work together on the same causes why should we think there are still problems between the three?

In other news, Jen has been confirmed for Oprah’s Big Give show.  She’ll be appearing on the April 20th episode and making a huge announcement.  Can’t wait to find out what it is!

In other news, did you hear that Michelle Trachtenberg will be joining the cast soon? She’ll be playing Georgina Sparks, an old friend of Serena.  Michelle talked to UsMagazine about her new gig.

“I am super excited! [Creator] Josh Schwartz is an awesome dude and he is inspiring me to bring out my inner b****. I got to play a b**** when I did Six Feet Under and it was super fun, and I think this show is young and is so on tap with what’s going on today.”

Mischa Barton was originally approached for the same part, but turned it down.

After working for so long on the same show with the same people, I imagine everyone would get really close.  It must have been fun for them to all get back together!
