November 30th, 1999 @ 12:00 amI am still laughing! What an idiot, and she does make Americans look ignorant. Note to readers outside the US, we are not all ignorant and stupid. Yes, many of us do in fact know world geography and have travelled outside the US—though to read some British and European newspapers one might suspect all Americans of being both stupid and ignorant. Paris and others do make it very easy for them though.
Does she not have a PR rep? Can they not give her a brief geography lesson before travelling abroad? Perhaps her PR rep is just as ignorant as she is, really what a moron!
Ugh, why does she continue to get press coverage? And more importantly, why am I wasting my time posting about this vacuous girl? I guess I found the quote too ignorant to pass up the opportunity to express my opinion.
