I am still laughing! What an idiot, and she does make Americans look ignorant. Note to readers outside the US, we are not all ignorant and stupid. Yes, many of us do in fact know world geography and have travelled outside the US---though to read some British and European newspapers one might suspect all Americans of being both stupid and ignorant. Paris and others do make it very easy for them though.
Does she not have a PR rep? Can they not give her a brief geography lesson before travelling abroad? Perhaps her PR rep is just as ignorant as she is, really what a moron!

Um I live in Senegal which is a country in West Africa and I musy say that no one really cares if Paris Hilton says something like that...its not a big deal west africa is made up of a lot of countries, i myself lump it in and say i live in west africa...its not like too many people know where senegal is!
