Amy Winehouse To Guest Star On Dr. Who

Ok, didn't see this one coming...we're about to have yet another singer turned actress on our hands. Amy Winehouse is all set to make her acting debut on the new series Dr. Who.

According to NME magazine, the 'Rehab' hitmaker will be reprising the role of the villainess The Rani, which was made famous by actress Kate O'mara in the 1980s. The Rani is an evil scientific genius rouge time lord who in previous series of the hit TV show has enslaved entire planets.

Supposedly Amy was a huge fan of the show when she was a kid, so she's really excited about this whole project! What do you think, will Amy make as good of an actress as she is singer? You never know, some people just turn out to be true talent in everything they do.

I could see her as an actress. But I doubt she could play a variety of characters. Probably just the ones who are singers addicted to drugs. Basically herself.
